The IOMCA believe in the importance of transparency in all of their activities. The decision making for all elements of the game are made through their committee structure. The Executive committee have decided that ALL the minutes from ALL the committees will be published for ALL to view.
Amendments to note on above minutes: Further to our meeting on the 8th September, please see below an amendment to the minutes: The minutes released on 14/09 of the senior committee highlighted the net facility being installed at King Williams college and questions were raised around their use by the clubs. The minutes document the following "Pete Luft advised that the New nets at KWC should soon arrive and access to them will be available to all clubs.” The executive would like to correct this statement as this is not the case and would like to rectify this with the below. The net facility is the property of King Williams College not the IOMCA and as such any hire or usage of them is at the discretion of the school. The IOMCA has assisted KWC in securing the funding of the nets as part of a bid to Isle of Man sport in return for an agreed amount of facility use at the school over a certain period of time. This was a vital arrangement to secure as the IOMCA activity increases in size in its community and excellence programmes. The intentions of the IOMCA has been to try to get clubs utilising their own facilities as much as possible which is happening as there is cricket scheduled in clubs all days of the week now. The funding pot we accessed with/for the school is open to all clubs to apply to with the correct structures in place and is attached below, we would urge ALL clubs to look to benefit from this to develop their facilities for the growing use..
