How to Score
The ICC have produced a number of videos as part of the 'What is Cricket' series. How do you keep score in cricket? Sometimes it can seem a little complicated but this video will teach you everything from running between the wickets to boundaries to those all important extras. Remember, every run counts!
2017 Electronic Scoring Update
Scoring goes digital with Play-Cricket Scorer. The newly released Play-Cricket Scorer app will bring your recreational games to life, from back-garden matches to league fixtures.

Over the winter there have been significant discussions between the ECB and CricHQ in relation to the scoring App. These have led to play cricket no longer being compatible with the scoring App options of Crichq and TCS. Any games scored on these Apps will no longer be able to be automatically uploaded to our play cricket sites.
The ECB have however launched their own scoring App to ensure electronic scoring is still possible which can be found and explained here:

The IOMCA have made the decision to stay with play cricket as the website options etc are all free to use and if it was decided to move to crichq there would be a significant charge for these services. Please update iPads accordingly with this and delete crichq and TCS to avoid confusion. If you can forward this to any parents/scorers who do a great job of assisting with this in your club that would be appreciated.
