What is CricSoft?
CricSoft is a high-speed version of cricket for 7-9 year olds where the emphasis is on participation and enjoyment. It is designed to help participants learn the basics of cricket in an inclusive, enjoyable and safe environment, where all children take equal turns at batting, bowling and fielding. Games are played on a smaller field and due to the softer ball no protective equipment is needed.
CricSoft opportunities include:
Community - IOMCA delivered programmes
Club - CricStart programme, Manx Youth Games & Under 9 festivals
Schools - CricSoft and Manx Youth Games target school programme run over two weeks and Club-School link programme run over three weeks with a set curriculum through the ICC Criiio Cricket Programme.
